A reliable way of checking you are booking with a credible company

Call the company?
Check they are members of the Villa Association in Ibiza. To be a member of the Association there are strict rules
Check the Villa has an official license
Check the agency is a travel agency or has a “Comercializador de Estancias Turísticas”. This is the license which allows the agency to rent villas
Check with whois.comhow look the URL has been is existence https://www.whois.com/whois/ibizavillas2000.com . A fake site would only last one year
Check with homeaway.comand www.ownersdirect.com how long the company has been a member. Again a fake site would only be a member for 1 year at the most
Check with the Town Hall if the company exists Department de Turisme – conselldeivissa.es
